Ultimate Coffee Date: October

It’s time for the Ultimate Coffee Date again with Deborah, Coco and Lynda! I’m so glad you ladies host this link up- it’s one of my favorites. Grab your cups and let’s chat on this rainy morning! (Hopefully your weather is better than mine though!)

If we were having coffee I’d tell you…that I really want to be in Atlanta with my friends this weekend as they take on the Spartan Super! I’m jealous of them lol! Instead I get to be at that bachelorette party I was telling you about Thursday- we will see how this goes!

If we were having coffee I’d tell you…that it’s really funny how much someone can change in a few years. Three years ago, I was all into makeup and going out and beauty products. Now I’m so low maintenance- most guys I know take longer to get ready than I do! I typically don’t wear makeup and I’m more comfortable in mud than dressing up and going out!

If we were having coffee I’d tell you…I’m so excited I got a chance to run with my friend Ali Saturday morning! We knew each other in middle school but hadn’t seen each other for about 15 years…it’s crazy how much time passes! It was a great run though and brunch afterward was awesome too. We wore similar outfits (Skirt Sports and Pro Compression, duh!) and even ordered the same thing for breakfast- I guess we are more alike than we originally thought haha!

Hi Ali!
Hi Ali!

If we were having coffee I’d tell you…it’s amazing how the weather has been getting cooler! And yes, by cooler in Florida I mean the high is in the 80s not 99. This is fall to us, northerners! Running in the 70s feels great in the early mornings. Since Florida is particular to Indian Summers, I’m not taking any of this for granted.

If we were having coffee I’d tell you…that I can’t wait for Tough Mudder next month! It’s been way too long (3 months!) since I’ve been able to play in the mud and I can’t wait for the next time I get to! Plus my headband display needs another addition to it- hello blue!

Well, that’s pretty much what’s going on in my life recently! What about you? Anything exciting or nerve wracking coming up for you? What made you happy recently?

    1. People do get hooked pretty quickly on OCR’s of all kinds! They’re super fun! I’m glad you had a good time at Warrior Dash. You will love TM it’s so much fun and the teamwork is amazing. Just take your time and you will be fine. 🙂

    1. And they say we’re high maintenance…sigh. 😉 I envy yours over the summer!

  1. I have a pretty basic life. Not too much going on. I too have just resorted to running clothes and ponytails. If I put on regular clothes people start wondering what is going on. I love obstacle courses. Have a great day

    1. Basic is awesome! Sometimes doing too much is overwhelming so getting the opportunity to relax is good.

    1. It was funny when I realized you were wearing something similar! Yes, I’d love to do another run together 🙂
